New Customer Mail Solicitation
A daily newspaper was interested in increasing its subscriber
base and replacing customers who had dropped the paper with new
ones. Willowbend's service bureau utilized our Mailing
Xpert application with
Neighborhood Clusters® and created
a profile of the locations of the current customers as well as
the location of limiting factors such as distance from the
primary market and competition. After suppressing the
addresses of existing customers Willowbend assigned each
remaining address in the desired market a weight based on the
likelyhood they would be a potential new subscriber to the
newspaper. The result -- according to the newspaper, some
of the best responses they have ever seen from a customer
solicitiaton mailing.
Delivery Route Building
A door to door delivery company was
prospecting to enter a new city for the delivery of telephone
directories. They needed a routing schema that would
become the building blocks for their future delivery system in
this new market. Willowbend's service bureau utilized our

and created a complete set of routes that were
optimallyorganized and easily edited if needed. Willowbend
created optimal driving sequences and driving instructions for

and maps identifying the streets and homes to be delivered.
The result -- the company got the business over the competition
because of their quick response to the potential customer's
requirement to view the company's plan within a week.
Target Marketing
A local strip shopping center management wanted to increase
traffic to the center for its business renters and stores.
None of the local media offered a tightly targeted reach to just
the areas the center wanted and a saturation direct mail
campaign was out of reach budget wise. Willowbend's

and identifed the

combined center's stores' customer lists indicated their
business was coming from. The center developed a mailer
promoting the support of local business "Where your Neighbors
